Calculus 2 TechCompanion

These pages are intended as an extension of the Calculus 1 TechCompanion to include examples and syntax relevant to new concepts and problems which arise in Calculus 2. The code snippets to be presented here will assume a basic familiarity with computer algebra systems. The level of detail in the explanations will not be comparable to the Calculus 1 TechCompanion. If you're a complete beginner you may need to work through the Calc 1 TechCompanion (linked to above) or an online tutorial before you can fully understand all the code presented here. (See MATLAB Tutorials and Learning Resources for some options.) Section titles are from Thomas' Calculus and the arrangement follows Cooper's spring calc 2 syllabus.
