The blue reverse video text indicates what is currently selected.
When you innocently bump a key, the selected text is instantly replaced with
whatever was just typed. Whoops!
If this should ever happen to something
important, you can get the zapped text back by pressing Ctrl-Z (which "undoes" the action of you zapping of your text).
Of course, if the old text in the box isn't all blue, then Right Click and then left or right click on the Select All entry which now is clickable.
Then resume your pasting :-)
